The beauty of solid wood furniture is that beneath the finish is, behold – real wood! Hand buffed and smoothed elmwood, wish you could experience and smell the scent within this space! Rosewood House debated on the two-tone finish for depth and identity, and came up with the final product, available now in store and is our featured online sale special: Step Tansu Chest – $650.

Handpainted wood lacquer multi-use trunk with textured surface featuring the Calla lily, ubiquitous in our Northern California customers gardens, Lily of the Nile, is native to South Africa and Swaziland. Handpainted on all sides over a ebony color lacquered base. Lacquer over wood is not recommended for heavy use and traffic as it chips easier than the polished surface of our rosewood hardwood furniture. The Calla lily Medallion Wood Trunk is one only and suggested uses include trunk, coffee table, end table, children’s play toy storage box, at the foot of a bed to store off-season clothing, bedding linens.

Handpainted headboard in peony spring motif with birds. Bone white base color, with three ribbed edge. The painted area consists of approximately 20″ height within a 25″ frame panel. A couple options for mounting, a) to the wall to achieve a higher headboard height, or legs directly to a metal mattress frame. May require Do-It-Together DIT creativity and drill/mounting not included. New old stock, there are markings on the headboard from display and storage.
