An authentic article of clothing, the Edo style Japanese obi sash is made of a deep tangerine orange dense silk, embroidered with a crane motif, patterened on both sides, measuring 1 ft. wide by 14 ft. long. The obi is authentic and thus previously served as clothing decades ago, and though it’s in excellent condition, there is evidence of careful use.
